Nexus

Nexus' require pickpoints and enhance the abilities of a character in Other-Life in different Skills corresponding to the different nexus:

• Animal Nexus
  • The Animal Nexus limits the kind of creatures you can Summon.
  • Maximum useful nexus is 3.
    • Note: 2 will cover all summonable creatures/mobs except a Medium Gargoyle.

• Artificial Nexus
  • The Artificial Nexus limits the kind of armor and weapons you can manufacture.
  • The Artificial Nexus also limits the kind of magic items (rings, medallions, enchanted swords) you can make.
  • Maximum useful nexus is 5.

• Human Nexus
  • The Human Nexus limits the kind of equipment you can wear (armor, weapons, shields, etc).
  • Maximum useful nexus is 5. Can wield full iron set with Titanium Serpent Sword. Can wear Artificer Cape with 5 Human Nexus.

• Inorganic Nexus
  • The Inorganic Nexus limits the kind of ores and minerals you can harvest.
  • Maximum useful nexus is 5.

• Magic Nexus
  • The Magic Nexus limits the kind of magic items (rings, medallions, enchanted swords) you can craft.
  • Maximum useful nexus is 3. While the Special Sword Books exist, one is rarely made hence why "useful" is 3.

• Vegetal Nexus
  • The Vegetal Nexus limits the kind of potions you can make.
  • Maximum useful nexus is 5.
